Research areas of interest are:

  • Carbon capture: CO2 capture technologies, determination of the kinetics of CO2 reaction with amines and amino acids solvents.
  • Modeling and Simulation of chemical processes: Simulations with emphasis on molecular simulation as applied to Carbon capture and Solar energy.
  • Catalysis: Synthesis and characterization of new catalysts, evaluation of catalyst activity and reaction kinetics.
