Biography

Mohammed J. Al-Marri is an Associate Professor faculty member in the Department of Chemical Engineering. He received his MS degree in Chemical Engineering from Texas A& M University main campus (College Station) in 2000. His PhD degree is in Chemical Engineering from the University of Leeds in 2009. He has been a faculty member in the Department of Chemical Engineering since 2009. Throughout his career, he served as the manager of the Industrial Relations Office in the College of Engineering between 2012-2013 and as the Director of Gas Processing Center between 2013-2017. Dr. Al-Marri’s research  interests covers the areas of gas processing, catalysis, and molecular modeling. Dr. Al-Marri has authored and co-authored numerous articles in well-known scientific journals and participated in a number of high profile conferences.
