Prof. Emad A. Abu-Shanab earned his PhD in business administration/MIS from Southern Illinois University – Carbondale, USA. His MBA from Wilfrid Laurier University in Canada, and his Bachelor in civil engineering from Yarmouk University (YU) in Jordan. He is a full professor in e-government, MIS area. His research interest lies in areas like E-government, technology acceptance, E-marketing, E-CRM, Digital divide, IT project management, and E-learning. Published many articles in journals and conferences, and authored three books in e-government. Prof. Abu-Shanab worked as an assistant dean for students’ affairs, quality assurance officer in Oman, and the director of Faculty Development Center at YU. He was the MIS Department Chair for the year 2015/2016, and now he is a professor in the Accounting & Information Systems Department, College of Business & Economics, at Qatar University.
