My collaborative research activities in/with different countries allowed us to publish quality journal publications, as the result of continuous research work of our students and supervision (UG, MSc and PhD students, Post-docs). We were successful in leveraging external funds to support the research that we have been conducting totaling more than 2,000,000.00 US $ as LPI.

Mainly senior author in more than 147 international original research articles in international peer-reviewed Scopus and web of Sc. Journals, and several national and US patents.

I am teaching interesting concepts to the students and teaching them how to study and implement them:

1- My courses are implementing Digitally Enriched, learner-centric, experiential, research-informed themes, as well as competence attributes.

2- I use different formative assessment methods, starting from diagnostic tests

3- I use comprehensive, mainly critical thinking, summative assessments including quizzes, exams, oral presentations, and assignments, and encourage student group work.

I have been contributing to the University efficiency and effectiveness. I have been involved in various committees:

– QU Academic promotion committee (APC) since 2011 up to date 2023

As example, at the level of the university I have been making intensive continuous efforts as Chair of QU Academic promotion committee for 8 years consecutively.

Co-Chair QU Academic promotion committee (APC) since Dec. 2021  

This committee is very important and very time consuming due to the importance of its outcomes at the level of the university (all colleges included).

-Member of QU-Outstanding Faculty member award committee 2021, 2022

I have been invited as external reviewer and evaluator of University programs (Europe, GCC countries..) and referee in ranking- QS ranking –Example: Korea university, or as external referee for the assessment of the application for promotion of faculty members at foreign universities like KSA, Jordan, Bahrain, Oman, Iraq, and refereeing manuscripts submitted to international journals or grant proposals submitted to competitive funding organizations QNRF (included) , or judge in many national and international competitions, as example the 2021 International Science and Engineering Fair in USA.

In addition, I have been involved in different types of training programs each one according to my needs for a continuous improvement that can serve the college/university.
