I am working as a Full Professor at the Department of Biological and Environmental Sciences, at the College of Arts and Sciences at Qatar University. I have a PhD from the University of Technology of Compiegne (France). I am also a qualified Professor in French universities, a Professor at the University of Sfax (Tunisia), and an official member of the Committee of Professors at the University of Sassari (Italy). I am Microbiologist and molecular and microbial Biotechnologist, having more than 34 years of experience in microbiology and molecular & microbial Biotechnology in France, Switzerland, Belgium, Germany, Tunisia, and Qatar. I have been teaching BSc, MSc and PhD courses of Microbiology, Molecular and Cell Biology, Biotechnology, Genetic engineering and DNA Technology, Environmental genomics and bioengineering, and many others. I have supervised 19 successfully defended PhDs, in addition to many BSc senior projects and MSc theses. I am mainly a senior author in more than 150 international original research articles in international peer-reviewed Scopus and web of Sc. Journals with Google Scholar H-index: 42; Scopus-H-index: 33; i-10-index: 122; Citations: 5255.
