2- The International Symposium on Sport for Development in the Gulf: International and Regional Perspectives that was held on December 11-12, 2016 at Qatar University. The symposium was co-organized by Dr. Amani El Jack, an Associate Professor of Gulf Studies and the Coordinator of Social and Cultural Research Area at the Gulf Studies Center and Dr. Mahfoud, the Team Leader of the Sports Research Cluster at Gulf Studies and Assistant Professor at the Sport Sciences Program, Qatar University.
