I am a Microbiologist. I work as a Teacher Assistant at the Biological and Environmental Sciences Department at Qatar University, where I teach lectures and practical sessions.

I have earned my Mater degree from the American University of Beirut on the microbiological quality of dairy products including home-made cheese, and on the antimicrobial resistance patterns of environmental bacterial isolates. 

I have finished my PhD at the department of Biological and Environmental Sciences at Qatar University at the end of Fall 2022. My PhD work includes working on fresh produce post-harvest fungal diseases and on the development of fruits coating material and on monitoring storage quality parameters.

I have published work in various areas including food control, toxicology, water treatment, microbiology and GIS.
