I integrate interprofessional education, patient safety, and student leadership to measurably improve training and frontline care. Methodologically, my work spans systematic and scoping reviews, mixed-methods designs, qualitative studies (interviews, focus groups, thematic analysis, Appreciative Inquiry), cross-sectional surveys, Delphi consensus, curriculum mapping, content analysis, psychometric/assessment studies (e.g., McMaster/Ottawa tools), and implementation evaluations. Grounded in Qatar and the wider MENA region, this portfolio translates evidence into better programmes, safer services, and more capable teams.

  1. Interprofessional education & collaborative practice: design, assessment, and impact.
  2. Patient safety in education & practice: curricula, competencies, speaking-up culture, and systems risk.
  3. Student leadership & engagement: motivations and behaviours (SDT, TDF, Appreciative Inquiry) and scalable interventions.
  4. Learner wellbeing & professional/interprofessional identity formation.
  5. Primary-care collaboration, community pharmacy, and health-literacy initiatives in the MENA region.
  6. Digital/remote learning models post-COVID.
