Dr. Hissa Sadiq is a Professor of Educational Leadership in the Department of Educational Sciences at the College of Education. She started her career at Qatar University. She started her administrative position as head of the Department of Foundation of Education in 2000, followed by the position of Associate Dean for student affairs in 2002. Her most recent position was Dean of the College of Education from 2004 until 2016.
Dr. Hissa taught several courses in general education and education leadership. She published many articles in Arabic and international journals.
She led the academic accreditation efforts at the college, which ended with IRTE’s academic accreditation in 2011 and then NCATE accreditation in the fall of 2016.
She led efforts to establish the National Center for Educational Development at Qatar University.
Dr. Hissa holds a Bachelor’s degree in Education from Qatar University in the field of teaching chemistry, Master and PhD in Educational Leadership from Ain Shams University in Cairo, Egypt.
