One of the most rewarding feelings I experience in life comes from the classroom. More specifically, it comes from contributing to the intellectual lives of my students. It is narrated that the Chinese philosopher, Confucius, once said, “I hear and I forget. I see and I remember, I do and I understand.” I agree with his ideas and seek experiential learning opportunities to get students involved more in hands-on assignments and experiences.
