I was pleased to give a research talk to the Arabic Language Technologies (ATL) group at Qatar Computing Research institute (QCRI) titled “Beyond the the Red Pen: Automated Arabic Essay Scoring for the Next Generation”, covering some of the major contributions of our bigIR team on the problem of Automated Essay Scoring (AES).
