I joined the the College of Business and Economics at Qatar University in 2016, after receiving my Ph.D in Economics from Aix-Marseille School of Economics at Aix Marseille Université – amU in France.
Before joining Qatar University, I was a teaching and research fellow at Aix-Marseille University and a regular lecturer at the Kedge Business School in France.
I also have several years of experience working with think tanks and educational non-profits across Europe, the United States, and Africa.
My research interests span several interconnected fields, including the economic analysis of law and institutions, cryptocurrencies and blockchain technologies, Islamic finance and banking, and development economics.
