Dr. Mohammad Shahid Jamil is a Research and Planning Coordinator/ Faculty at  Qatar University. He has 24 years of experience in academics, admin and research in Computer Science and Technology area. Published many research papers in the area of Computer Science and Educational Technology . Before joining Qatar university in 2005, He was Sr. Lecturer in the Qatar College of Technology, Doha from 2002 till 2005.

Dr. Jamil has obtained two Master degrees. First one in Solid State Physics ( Two years course)  and Second Master in Computer Science & Application ( Three years course). He has awarded  with first class and first position in both the Master Program from Aligarh Muslim University, India in 1985 and 1989, endowed with gold medals from The President of India for securing first position.  His Ph.D. is in the area of Artificial Intelligence in 2008.

His area of research includes Knowledge Base, Big Data, Machine Learning and E-Learning.

Published more than 29 research papers in different computer science and technology area.
