Biography
Reem El Hage is an education professional currently serving as a Learning Support Specialist at Qatar University’s College of Pharmacy. In this role, she specializes in developing and implementing comprehensive support systems for students at risk, focusing on enhancing academic performance and student retention. Her work involves creating tailored learning strategies, designing targeted intervention programs, and initiating various student success initiatives within the pharmacy education context.
Her academic background combines environmental health, education, and public health, reflected in her degrees from the American University of Beirut: a Bachelor of Science in Environmental Health (2011), a Teaching Diploma in Health Education (2012), and a Master’s in Public Health with a concentration in Health Promotion and Community Health (2017).
Prior to her role at Qatar University, Reem served as Program Coordinator for the Mastercard Foundation Scholars Program at AUB (2012-2018), where she developed the “Anti-oppression Educational Framework,” focusing on enhancing student wellbeing through inclusive educational practices. This experience enriched her understanding of diverse student needs and effective support strategies.
In her current position, Reem’s responsibilities include:
