Dr. Rahul Bhosale is currently working as an Assistant professor at Department of Chemical Engineering, Qatar University (September 2013). He received his B. S. degree in chemical engineering from University of Mumbai (2006), M. S. degree in Chemical Engineering from Institute of Chemical Technology, University of Mumbai (2008), and Ph. D. degree in Chemical and Biological Engineering from South Dakota School of Mines and Technology, SD, USA (2012). Before joining Qatar University, he worked for one year as an postdoctoral research scientist at Solar Technology Laboratory, Paul Scherrer Institute, Switzerland. His research is mainly focused towards Solar Thermal Processes, Solar Desalination, Alternative Energy, CO2 Capture and Utilization, Catalysis, Material Synthesis and Applications, Computational Thermodynamics, Advanced Oxidation, and others. Dr. Rahul Bhosale has authored around 60 technical research papers and secured around 1.8 million USD research funding through various funding agencies since joining Qatar University.
