Dr. Ousama Rachid has over two decades of teaching experience in pharmaceutics, biopharmaceutics, and pharmacokinetics, spanning undergraduate and postgraduate pharmacy programs. He has taught extensively in both didactic and laboratory settings, integrating fundamental pharmaceutical sciences with applied clinical relevance.

His teaching emphasizes conceptual understanding, problem-solving, and data interpretation, often incorporating case-based learning, simulation exercises, and model-based pharmacokinetic analysis to strengthen students’ quantitative and translational skills.
Dr. Rachid also supervises undergraduate research projects, MSc theses, and PhD dissertations, focusing on formulation development, biopharmaceutic characterization, and pharmacokinetic modeling. Several of his mentees have received research awards and conference recognition for their work.
He is actively involved in curriculum design, course coordination, and teaching innovation, contributing to the professional pharmacy curriculum.
