Biography

Dr. Noran Zahran is a Clinical Teaching Assistant in the Department of Clinical Pharmacy and Practice at the College of Pharmacy, Qatar University. She earned both her Bachelor of Science in Pharmacy (2016) and her Doctor of Pharmacy (PharmD) degree (2017) from Qatar University.

Following her graduation, Dr. Zahran began her professional career in research at Qatar University and later at the Medical Research Center, Hamad Medical Corporation (HMC), where she gained extensive experience in clinical research across various medical specialties.

Dr. Zahran subsequently transitioned into pharmacy practice and obtained her official pharmacy practice license from the Ministry of Public Health, Qatar, serving as a licensed pharmacist.

In 2023, she rejoined her alma mater, the College of Pharmacy at Qatar University, as a Clinical Teaching Assistant. In this role, she contributes to teaching and learning in pharmacotherapy and PharmD courses and plays a key role in coordinating and facilitating the Professional Skills Laboratory across all professional years of the pharmacy program.

Her teaching and research interests include therapeutics, clinical practice, professional skills development, behavioral and observational research.

Looking ahead, Dr. Zahran aims to continue advancing her teaching expertise through the integration of innovative methods and educational technologies, while expanding her research contributions and pursuing academic growth in the field of pharmacy education.
