Noureddine Ben Lagha completed his PhD at The University of Paris II Assas in France, his Master degree at Paris II Assas University in France.
Before joining the College of Business and Economics at Qatar University as Assistant Professor of Economics in August 2016, Noureddine has taught a broad number of courses at both the undergraduate and graduate levels at Al Imam Mohammad Ibn Saud Islamic University (KSA), University of Sfax (Tunisia), University of Paris II Assas (France) and at the Institute of higher education of Paris (France).
His research interests include, Information Economics, Insurance and risk management, Micro-econometrics, Financial markets and Time series. He has published widely on these topics in internationally respected peer-reviewed journals such as Applied Economics, Economic modeling, Accident Analysis and Prevention, Finance research letters ,Technology in society , Global Finance Journal and presented at major conferences such as Eurostat, The French Society of Statistics the Midwest Economics Association (USA) and Annual conferences of Decision science institute.
He has been awarded research grants from QNRF and from different respected chairs of research including SMF and SABIC Chair at Imam Mohammad Ibn Saud Islamic University, Saudi Arabia Qatar University and QNRF.
