Dr. Noor is assistant professor of Clinical Pharmacy and Practice at the College of Pharmacy at Qatar University. Dr. Noor holds a PhD in clinical pharmacology from the Faculty of Medicine at Université De Montréal – one of the largest universities in Canada, and has acquired recognition for her research, that aims at the development and validation of novel clinical-decision support system that helps clinicians prescribe for older adults. Her thesis earned nominations for the Best Thesis and Honor List Awards. She has received four awards and scholarships on this project from prestigious federal and local funding institutions, awards such as the Frederick Banting and Charles Best Canada Graduate Scholarship and the Fonds de recherche du Québec Santé award.

Noor’s research interests encompass clinical decision-support systems, prescribing decisions for older adults, translational medicine, and shared decision-making. Noor has disseminated her research findings through high number of publications in high-impact international peer-reviewed journals and has showcased her work at esteemed conferences. Noor’s educational background includes a teaching certificate from Harvard University, and she has five years of experience in educating on pharmacy-related subjects.
