I completed honor degrees in both B.Sc. and M.Sc. in biological sciences from the Hashemite University in Zarqa, Jordan in 2000 and 2003, respectively. From 2003 and up to 2013, I worked in teaching and research in several Universities in Jordan and Saudi Arabia. In 2013, I joined Ecotoxicology group department at University Putra Malaysia, Malaysia where I obtained my PhD degree in Ecotoxicology. In my PhD thesis research, I focused on heavy metals pollution in urban areas and use of house crows, Hsp70 and Caspase-3 as bio-indicators/ biomarkers for metals pollution. I moved to Qatar University since September 2016 as a teaching assistant in ecology laboratory in the Department of Biological and Environmental Sciences
