Khouloud Mtibaa is a Teaching Assistant in Sports Science. Academically, she is currently working towards completing her PhD in Exercise Physiology from Claude Bernard University Lyon 1 in France. She received her Bachelor degree in Sports and Physical Education from Tunisia with high honors. In 2013, she was valedictorian in her Master degree in Sports and Physical Education in Tunisia. In the research field, Khouloud has authored and co-authored several papers published in honorable scientific journals. She has participated and presented in numerous national and international conferences (e.g., ECSS: European College of Sport Science, ISAFA: International Science and Football Association) in France, Qatar, Tunisia and Sweden. Also, she was awarded with the 1st Prize Young Investigator Award on the International Science and Football Conference in 2016. Professionally, Khouloud is a certified Basketball coach from Tunisia. She is also a certified health fitness specialist from the “Federation of International Sports, Aerobics and Fitness” (FISAF) and the “European Health & Fitness Association”, a certified TRX® Instructor of “RIP® Training” and “Suspension Training”, a certified Zumba® and Zumba® Step Instructor, a certified “Peak Pilates Instructor”, and a certified Aqua-fitness instructor. Khouloud taught physical education in Tunisia at college and university level. She has experienced working in various organisations in Tunisia and Qatar (e.g., Aspire) through many different fitness domains. She enjoys all aspects of sports and fitness and is eager to spread that passion to others!
