Hameda Janahi, is an architect and an assistant professor in the Department of Architecture and Urban Planning, College of Engineering, at Qatar University. She earned her PhD in 2022 from the Welsh School of Architecture, Cardiff University, United Kingdom. She was awarded a Master’s degree from The Bartlett School of Architecture, University College London, United Kingdom in 2016. She completed her Bachelor’s degree in Architecture and Urban planning at Qatar University, which nominated and granted her a scholarship to pursue her higher education immediately after graduating in 2014.

Her teaching and research interests span well-being, social studies, behavioural studies, post-occupancy evaluation, spatial morphology, housing, and urban design.
