Biography
Dr. Hager ElGeed has a robust background in clinical pharmacy education and practice, currently serving as a Clinical Lecturer at Qatar University’s College of Pharmacy with a cross-appointment assignement at Hamad Medical Corporation. She covers internal medicine with a a special focus on nephrology. With extensive experience dating back to 2012, her roles have evolved from a Teaching Assistant to her current position, where she oversees graduate and undergraduate courses and actively participates in various departmental committees. She is responsible for mentoring PharmD students and facilitating practical skills and pharmacotherapy modules.
Research Contributions and Publications
Dr. ElGeed has led and contributed to multiple research projects funded by Qatar University and Qatar Foundation. Her recent publications include contributions to prominent journals and books, focusing on community pharmacy outreach, geriatric health services, and pharmacy education in low-to-middle-income countries.
