Dr. Ghassan Hani Mardini received his Ph.D. degree from the University of Dundee – the UK in 2012. He is currently an Associate Professor of Accounting at the College of Business and Economics – Qatar University / Qatar. His research interests include financial accounting, carbon accounting, international accounting standards, corporate governance, auditing, intellectual capital, and accounting education. He holds a Certified Educator in Business and Management – the UK in 2021. He also holds an International Financial Reporting Standards Certificate (IFRSCert – AICPA) program from the American Institute of Certified Public Accountants in 2020 and holds an International Financial Reporting Certificate (CertIFR – ACCA) from the Association of Chartered Certified Accountants in 2021.

حصل الدكتور غسان هاني مارديني على درجة الدكتوراة من جامعة دندي – المملكة المتحدة في عام 2012. يعمل حاليا كعضو هيئة تدريس برتبة أستاذ مشارك في الإدارة والاقتصاد – جامعة قطر / قطر. تشمل اهتماماته البحثية المحاسبة المالية والمحاسبة الكربونية ومعايير المحاسبة الدولية وحوكمة الشركات والتدقيق ورأس المال الفكري وتعليم المحاسبة. حاصل على شهادة مدرس معتمد في الإدارة والأعمال – المملكة المتحدة في عام 2021. وأيضا حاصل على برنامج شهادة المعايير الدولية لإعداد التقارير المالية (IFRSCert – AICPA) من المعهد الأمريكي للمحاسبين القانونيين في عام 2020 وحاصل على شهادة التقارير المالية الدولية (CertIFR – ACCA) من جمعية المحاسبين القانونيين البريطانية في عام 2021.
