Biography

Farhat Naz Hussain, MPharm, is a dedicated lecturer and researcher at the College of Pharmacy, Qatar University, with a background in pharmacy education and clinical practice. She earned her Master of Pharmacy from the University of Strathclyde, UK and completed her pre-registration training at Boots the Chemist, where she later worked as a pharmacist and pharmacy manager in the UK.

Since joining Qatar University in 2015, Farhat has contributed significantly to the College of Pharmacy, designing and teaching courses across various topics, including pharmacology, medicinal chemistry, and research evaluation. Her research interests focus on pharmacy education, with numerous publications in high-impact journals. Farhat is also active in student mentorship, committee leadership, and outreach initiatives, supporting both academic and community engagement within and beyond the university.
