Amina Sultan Al-Jaber received my B.Sc. in Chemistry in 1981 from Qatar University, Qatar with honor degree, M.Sc. degree in physical chemistry in 1987 from Ain Shams University, Cairo, Egypt and Ph.D. in 1991 from Ain Shams University, Egypt in physical chemistry.
I worked as assistant professor in physical chemistry at Qatar Uiniversity from 1991 t0 2004 , associated professor from 2004-2021 and as professor at the same university from 2021 up-to-date.
During my career, she have taught several Physical Chemistry courses, including metal corrosion, surface chemistry & catalysis.

She has authored/co- over 40 peer reviewed papers, about 60 international conference proceedings and holds a number of patents. She has supervised many graduate researchers and postdoctoral fellow and received various competitive grants as principal investigator from the Qatar National Research Fund, including Three National Priorities Research Program fund (NPRP).
She retired in August 2022 .
