One of the most appealing aspects of an academic job is the opportunity to teach and interact with students. To communicate various ideas and concepts to students and to encourage them to learn and think independently are rewarding experiences. Arsalan believes that the best learning experience is hands-on. This is even true in the theoretical fields, where the best appreciation of a result often comes by re-deriving it yourself. As a research-based faculty with professional work experiences, he intends to use the self-learning approach as a founding principle of his research team.
