Research Highlights
- Prof. Mohamed has coauthored over 200 journal and conference papers, two textbooks, and 6 patents in wireless networking and communications (see google scholar here).
- He has been granted 11 NPRP grants, 4 industrial grants, 5 UREP grants, and 5 internal grants, with total funds of over 10 Million dollars as detailed in his resume.
- As a result, Dr. Mohamed’s research has been featured in the news e.g. Alarab, Raya newspapers, and QU research & GS.
- He has been granted the excellence award academic/services and excellence award academic/research from the college of engineering in 2018, and 2017 respectively, the best researcher award from the CSE department for two years in 2010 and 2011. In addition, he holds best paper awards from several regional and international research events and organizations as detailed in his resume.
- Mohamed is the chair of the “research and graduate studies” committee, and the coordinator of the “Network systems and security” research group at the CSE department.
- Mohamed has supervised and co-supervised 9 master and PhD theses, 5 of them have already graduated, and 30 postdoc and research assistants as part of his research projects from different countries, detailed in his resume.
