Research interests

My primary research interest is in the area of Wireless Sensor Networks and ad-Hoc Networks, Encryption, Networks Security, Clouding, Big Data, and Networks Performance analysis. In particular, I am interested in the design of protocols and architecture for network systems.

Master Thesis
“Topology management and selective activation algorithm for wireless sensor network with minimum interference” which simulated using Matlab.

Wireless sensor networks have drawn significant research interest in the last decade, primarily due to their broad range of potential applications. For example, a large number of small-powerful sensors can be deployed
over the Area of Interest to detect enemy intrusion instead of using landmines. A wireless sensor network usually operates using batteries, and thus a key design issue is how to communicate effectively with minimum energy consumption which is maximizing the network lifetime. To seek the solution, my research in my master thesis investigates effective communication strategies that are using clustering techniques and topology management for large scale wireless sensor networks to achieve the best communication rates are given limited power at each network node. However, using selective activation techniques for sensor nodes reduces power consumption, reduces the interference between nodes, and enhances security, especially when used in military applications.

My thesis is a part of a project that is technically supported by the NATO No.
G4936 “Hybrid sensor network for emergency critical scenarios”.
