He has over 15 years of teaching, research and construction industry experience. His experience includes Sustainable Urban Design and Planning, BIM and innovative design applications in the UK architecture, engineering and construction (AEC) industry for more than 15 years. Has a passion for teaching and research. He has worked on several research projects such as the Health and Care Infrastructure Research and Innovation Centre (Haciric), a collaboration between the University of Reading, Loughborough University, Imperial College London and University College London, and Qatar Building Information Modelling (BIM) project. He has worked at Atkins Global, the Design and Engineering Division London, towards the strategic implementation of BIM. His areas of teaching and research interest include Architectural Design, Sustainable Building Design, Building Information Modelling, Architectural Structures, Lean Construction, and Construction Project Management. He has written several articles in Journals and international conferences. He has participated in professional practice on both a part-time and full-time basis. He joined Qatar university in 2016.

in the field of sustainable infrastructure, design development, and supporting the adoption of BIM culture change to facilitate organisational performance within the built- environment. Have a passion for wayfinding and flexible spaces especially in healthcare buildings. Interested in organisation of data for asset whole lifecycle management.

He has published numerous articles in reputable journals, presented his work at international conferences, and actively participated in collaborative research projects. He has attracted Research Grant funds and delivered research projects totaling more than $1 Million. In addition, he has served as a keynote speaker and presenter at many international conferences around the world. He has been the recipient of several prestigious awards, including the “Outstanding Research Award” from  Qatar National Research Fund for his Undergraduate Research Experience Program funded project.
