Biography
Dr. Anis Daou is a researcher and educator, holding a Ph.D. from Kingston University, London. His academic journey has been marked by a relentless pursuit of knowledge and contributions to the field of pharmaceutical sciences, particularly in the realms of anticancer drug development, theranostics, and innovative drug delivery systems.
Dr. Anis’ PhD research at Kingston University London, was a seminal exploration into drug development and analysis, with a primary focus on anticancer compounds. His work centered around synthesizing novel boron compounds tailored for effective use in Boron Neutron Capture Therapy (BNCT). This innovative approach aimed to deliver targeted drug treatments to cancer cells. Moreover, he used nanotechnology for the delivery of these compounds, showcasing his commitment to advancing drug delivery technologies.
Currently serving as a lecturer at Qatar University in the College of Pharmacy, Dr. Anis specializes in pharmaceutics. His expertise extends to various research domains, reflecting a diverse and impactful career.
