Short Bio

Since 2016, I have been working as a full-time teaching assistant at the Department of Computer Science and Engineering at Qatar University. During this time I taught and assisted in many courses such as Machine Learning, Data Science, Artificial Intelligence, Mobile Application Development, Software Developments of Enterprises Applications,  Web Development, Multimedia Systems, Advance Programming and Engineering Ethics.

Before my teaching assistantship, I worked as a full-time research assistant in two National Priorities Research Program(NPRP) projects.  

The first NPRP research project was on Mobile Learning, where I was able to create the entire system architecture of a mobile learning solution. This solution was later deployed at Qatar Petroleum, College of North-Atlantic Qatar and Qatar University. 

The second NPRP project focused on sentiment analysis in Arabic.  In the sentiment analysis research project, I was part of a team that was responsible for developing a new high-impact visualization system that facilitated users to make decisions faster.  

Research Interest

Artificial Intellegence, Mobile learning, e-learning, human-computer interaction and use of emerging learning technologies in education and training.
