I am an Associate Professor in the Civil and Architectural Engineering Department at Qatar University. I received my Ph.D. and Master degrees in Environmental Engineering from Concordia University, Montreal, Canada.

My research interests include:

  • Water and wastewater treatment (Desalination, membrane fouling, Forward Osmosis (FO), Membrane Bioreactors (MBRs), biosorption and selective adsorption).
  • Non-destructive leak detection in water and sewer networks.
