Prior to that, she worked as a senior lecturer (December 2017) and lecturer (May 2015) in the Department of chemical engineering at Curtin University Malaysia.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Dr. Jawad received her PhD Degree in Chemical Engineering from Universiti Sains Malaysia in 2014. She also obtained her Bachelor and Master&#8217;s Degrees in Chemical Engineering from University of Technology, Baghdad-Iraq in 2003 and 2007, respectively.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Dr Jawad&#8217;s research focus is on the development of mixed matrix membrane for CO<sub>2<\/sub> separation. She has particular interest to understand the fundamental transport phenomena across the membrane and utilize this membrane-based separation technique to control the environment pollution issues.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>On 29<sup>th<\/sup> March 2018, she was awarded the title of Chartered Engineer under Engineering Council (United Kingdom). Furthermore, she is an associate member in ICHEME, a member of the institution of Engineering and Technology (MIET), and an assistant member of the Iraqi Engineers Union.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Last but not least, due to her significant contribution in teaching and learning professionalism, she awarded her title as fellow in advanced higher education academy (United Kingdom) in January 2021.<\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>Dr. Zeinab Jawad is an assistant professor in department of chemical engineering at Qatar University since January 2021.
