{"id":9,"date":"2021-11-22T06:06:56","date_gmt":"2021-11-22T06:06:56","guid":{"rendered":"http:\/\/qufaculty.qu.edu.qa\/ichachladakis\/?page_id=9"},"modified":"2022-08-30T10:02:12","modified_gmt":"2022-08-30T10:02:12","slug":"research-information-about-my-research","status":"publish","type":"page","link":"https:\/\/qufaculty.qu.edu.qa\/ichachladakis\/research-information-about-my-research\/","title":{"rendered":"Research"},"content":{"rendered":"\n<p>Dr John&#8217;s research is operated in a cross-disciplinary environment that spans the width of chemical engineering, electrochemistry, environmental chemistry and environmental engineering, specializing in <strong>solid waste management<\/strong>, <strong>circular economy<\/strong> and <strong>optimization methods for recycling and recovery of valuable resources from waste, <\/strong>especially from the Municipal Solid Waste Stream <strong>(plastics, metals, etc.)<\/strong>. He, also, specializes in the remediation of soils, sediments and wastewaters contaminated with toxic metals and PAHs by the use of advanced electrokinetic\/electrochemical techniques.
