Zaki Abushawish received his PhD and Master of Accounting from the

University of Birmingham, U.K. in 2003 & 1994. His research interests

include Auditing, Managerial Accounting, Management & Cost

Accounting, and Corporate Accounting. His work such as “An empirical

study of the perceptions of the quality of Internal Audit departments at the

UK firms under the regimes of TQM”, was published in the Journal of

“Studies in Business and Economics”, CBE, Qatar University, 2008.  He

also published his research of “The Effects of Second Language on Ethical

Judgment in Accounting’, in Journal of Afro-Asian J. of finance and

Accounting, 2014. In addition, he published a paper titled “Personality

Types and Accounting subfields” in Academy of Accounting and Financial

Studies Journal, 2017. Furthermore, he published a paper titled “Corporate

Governance disclosure compliance: a comparison between conventional and

Islamic banks” in International Journal Electronic Banking, 2020.

Zaki has been working in the Academic field for 28 years.
