{"id":2,"date":"2022-08-24T10:42:31","date_gmt":"2022-08-24T10:42:31","guid":{"rendered":"http:\/\/qufaculty.qu.edu.qa\/vplevris\/?page_id=2"},"modified":"2023-09-11T16:14:32","modified_gmt":"2023-09-11T13:14:32","slug":"home","status":"publish","type":"page","link":"http:\/\/qufaculty.qu.edu.qa\/vplevris\/","title":{"rendered":"Home"},"content":{"rendered":"\n<p><strong>Dr. Vagelis (or Evangelos) Plevris<\/strong> is an Associate Professor at the Department of Civil &amp; Environmental Engineering of Qatar University in Doha, Qatar.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>He serves as <strong>Chief Editor<\/strong> for &#8220;<a rel=\"noreferrer noopener\" href=\"https:\/\/www.frontiersin.org\/journals\/built-environment\/sections\/computational-methods-in-structural-engineering\" target=\"_blank\">Computational Methods in Structural Engineering<\/a>&#8220;, a section of the journal <a rel=\"noreferrer noopener\" href=\"https:\/\/www.frontiersin.org\/journals\/built-environment\" target=\"_blank\">Frontiers in Built Environment<\/a>, by <em>Frontiers <\/em>in Switzerland.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>He holds a Diploma in Civil Engineering (5-year studies) from the National Technical University of Athens (NTUA) with specialization in Structural Engineering. He also holds an MSc from NTUA on &#8220;Structural Design and Analysis of Structures&#8221;, a Master in Business Administration (MBA) from Athens University of Economics and Business (AUEB) and a PhD from the School of Civil Engineering of NTUA.
