I was honored to be invited to give a short 10-minute speech at the closing ceremony of the Graduate Research Forum 2024 at University of Texas A&M at Qatar (TAMUQ). The purpose of the speech was to emphasize how graduate students can contribute to the Palestinian cause with their knowledge and innovation.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

While the invitation came in a very tough time (end of the semester!), I couldn’t reject it — how dare one can miss such an opportunity to do something for that cause?!<\/p>\n\n\n\n

“Make the Difference” was the title I chose for the speech, and also the message I tried to deliver to the graduate students. Yes, you can make the difference, and be the difference!<\/p>\n\n\n\n

I’m grateful to the Graduate Student Association at TAMUQ for inviting me and giving me the chance to share my voice!<\/p>\n\n\n\n
