Short Bio:

Dr. Shatha M. Obeidat is an Associate Professor of Management at Qatar University. During her career, she has been involved in various research and teaching activities in Qatar and the region. In 2011, Dr. Obeidat earned her Ph.D. in Management, with a specialization in Human Resource Management from the University of  Newcastle, Australia. She also earned a BA and MBA degrees both in Business Administration from Yarmouk University, Jordan. In September 2014, she joined Qatar University as an Assistant Professor. In 2022, she served as the management program coordinator in the department of management and marketing at the college of business and economics, Qatar University. Throughout her academic career, she has taught both undergraduate and graduate-level courses in her areas of specialization such as human resource management, strategic management, and organizational behavior. Dr. Shatha`s research work centers on the practice of strategic HRM, Sustainable HRM, and organizational performance. Her work is published in journals such as Human Resource Management, Journal of Business Ethics, and Personnel Review Journal. She received regional and international funding for a variety of projects.
