During my career, I have taught many Organic Chemistry courses, including photochemistry &amp; Research project. My research interests include Carbon dioxide conversion, Lithium-ion Batteries, Wastewater Treatment, and organic solar cells.<\/p>\n<p>My Elsevier\u2019s Scopus H-index is 25 with more than 2000 citations. I have received various competitive grants as a principal investigator from the Qatar National Research Fund, including six National Priorities Research Program funds (NPRP) and Undergraduate Research Experience Program (UREP). I have authored over 85 peer-reviewed publications in international journals and over 65 research abstracts and posters. I received the Fulbright Research Scholarship in 2011. I am supervising many students, research assistants, and postdoctoral fellows in my lab and acted as a reviewer for many Chemistry journals. I served as a Dean of the College of Arts &amp; Sciences for five years.
