I earned my Ph.D. in Statistics from the Australian National University in 2005 and spent my sabbatical leave at McMaster University during the 2010-2011 academic year.<\/p>\n<p>My research interests focus on survival analysis and life testing problems, goodness-of-fit testing, censoring methodologies, nonparametric statistics, and mixture models. My work has been published in several esteemed reputable international journals, and I actively pursue opportunities to engage in projects that integrate theoretical and applied statistical methods.<\/p>\n<p>In addition to my research, I am passionate about teaching and mentoring students, emphasizing the application of statistical methods to real-world problems.<\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>I am an Associate Professor of Statistics in the Department of Mathematics and Statistics at Qatar University.
