He has over two decades of academic and research experience spanning <strong>drug delivery, biopharmaceutics, and pharmacokinetics<\/strong>, with prior appointments at the University of Manitoba (Canada) and Kuwait University.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Dr. Rachid\u2019s recent research integrates <strong>computational pharmacokinetic (PK) modeling, physiologically based PK (PBPK) simulations, and population pharmacokinetics (popPK)<\/strong> to optimize drug dosing in <strong>special populations<\/strong> such as obese patients, pediatrics, and those with altered physiology. His group employs in silico tools including GastroPlus\u00ae and ADMET Predictor\u00ae to simulate systemic exposure profiles, advancing personalized dosing strategies and supporting <strong>model-informed precision dosing (MIPD)<\/strong>.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>In parallel, Dr. Rachid maintains active projects in <strong>nanomedicine and formulation science<\/strong>, focusing on drug delivery design and stability assessment under challenging environmental conditions. His portfolio includes over <strong>35 peer-reviewed publications<\/strong>, supported by research funding exceeding <strong>one million USD<\/strong>. He is recognized for his extensive work in <strong>oromucosal drug delivery<\/strong>, particularly in the development of <strong>epinephrine sublingual tablets<\/strong> as needle-free alternatives for anaphylaxis management.
