Mohamed had worked at various Australian universities including the University of Melbourne, the University of Queensland, and the Australian National University. Mohamed&#8217;s research interests are in the management accounting and accounting information systems areas with a specific focus on the use of business intelligence to support management accounting and controls systems in both private and public sector organizations. Mohamed&#8217;s publications have appeared in top-tier\/international journals such as the Accounting Review, International Journal of Accounting Information Systems, the Journal of Information Systems, Business Intelligence Systems; and in the proceedings of international conferences including the Accounting &amp; Finance Association of Australia and New Zealand (AFAANZ), European Accounting Association (EAA) Congress, and American Accounting Association (AAA) Meetings.
