Mohamed Goaied is a professor of Econometrics and Statistics at the College of Business and Economics, at Qatar University. He holds a Ph.D. in Mathematical Economics and Econometrics from the University of Bourgogne, France. He was a Dean of IHEC Carthage, Tunisia from 2002-2005. He was a full professor of Econometrics and statistics at IHEC Carthage from 2002-2016 and headed the Research of Applied Economics and Finance laboratory at the University of Carthage from 2005-2016. He has held visiting positions at the University of Paris I, among other institutions. He has carried out research and consulting activities in applied econometrics, Development Economics, Labour Economics, and Tourism Economics. He has several publications in refereed journals: Econometric Reviews, Journal of Productivity Analysis, International Review of Finance, Tourism Management, etc. He is a Fellow at the Economic Research Forum for Mena Region and a member of the Applied Econometrics Association (France) and the National Statistic Board (Tunisia).
