Al-Marri<\/strong> is a Professor and current Head of the Department of Chemical Engineering (since 2023). He earned his MS in Chemical Engineering from Texas A&amp;M University, College Station (2000), and his PhD in Chemical Engineering from the University of Leeds (2009). He has been a faculty member at the department since 2009.<\/p>\n<p data-start=\"417\" data-end=\"755\">Prof. Al-Marri previously served as Manager of the Industrial Relations Office (2012\u20132013) and as Director of the Gas Processing Center (2013\u20132017). His research focuses on gas processing, water treatment in Oil &amp; Gas Industry, catalysis, and molecular modeling.
