Hello,

I am pleased to welcome you to my website. I obtained my Ph.D. in Computer Science and Networking in September 2006 from TELECOM Paris Tech Engineering School in France. In  June 2002, I received my Master of Science in Networking and Distributed Systems from POLYTECH Engineering School, University of Nice Sophia-Antipolis, France.

Since February 2017 until now, I am a Lecturer at the Core Curriculum Program (CCP) at Qatar University teaching first year students skills to succeed in College. Additionally, I chair the CCP Curriculum Committee and serve on many other committees. I am honored to have been selected for the CCP Excellence in Teaching Award for 2019. Additionally, I was awarded the Excellence in Services awards as a member of the CCP Assessment Committee and CCP Policy and Procedures Committee, respectively in 2020, and 2019.

Prior joining the Deanship of General Studies at Qatar University, I worked as a Postdoctoral research fellow at Computer Science and Engineering Department, at Qatar University, and at Mobile Communication department at EURECOM, respectively from April 2011 to August 2012, and from 2007 to 2008.

My background in research is equally strong. Overall, I published more than 20 research papers including 4 in peer-review journals and more than 16 in peer-review international conferences.

My research interests include networking, resource optimization for wireless ad hoc networks, cross-layer communication systems design for QoS in wireless Networks, Computer Networks, Mobile Wireless Networks, Artificial Intelligence, Internet of Things, and Future Smart Education Methodologies.
