I have been working as a freelance translator for over 25 years, serving different types of clients by translating, transcreating, localising, and proofreading different types of texts. Many of my clients request the use of a TM platform/application in their projects. I am licensed to use SDL Trados Studio. I have practical knowledge and professional experience in fully managing translation projects online using Smartcat and offline using SDL Trados, starting from receiving clients’ requests (translation briefs), through the preparation of documents for the translation, calculating internal statistics, distributing the work to translators, monitoring progress and answering queries from translators, controlling quality during and after the translation, preparing documents for delivery, until finally delivering the project to the clients and handling their complaints (if any).
