Previously, Dr Yaser worked at Amman Arab university for Graduate Studies in Jordan as an Assistant to the President for Educational and Cultural Relations. He also acted as the Deputy Dean of the Higher College of Legal and Political Studies. Dr. Yaser was awarded the certificates of both The Hague Academy of International Law, and Bancaja Academy of International Law. He held teaching posts at the UWE in 1999 and at Bahrain University in 2001. Dr. Yaser is also a practicing Advocate, and a legal consultant for the European Environmental Program in Jordan and for the National Resources Authority in Amman.
Main area of research is International Law in its broad scope, including Environmental Protection, Human Rights, International Humanitarian Law and International Criminal Law.
