He is an affiliate legal advisor of the KINDI Qatar Centre for Cybersecurity.\u00a0 Dr. Jon Truby runs the undergraduate and postgraduate Environmental Law and Public Policy programmes in the College of Law of Qatar University.<\/p>\n Having been a highly active member of the University since 2010, he has driven the delivery of numerous college achievements and his role in college management has helped institutionalize processes within the college.\u00a0 He participates in a range of planning, strategy, accreditation, quality assurance and education committees within the university and the local community, driving the delivering for example of the University\u2019s Strategic Plan, Qatar\u2019s first LLM and law PhD programmes, and Qatar\u2019s governmental negotiating documents on climate change. \u00a0He is a member of the College Council, the College\u2019s management team.\u00a0 He has set up various academic, research and consultancy centres and initiatives and has led university missions through his endeavours with external organisations such as the US State Department, the World Bank, NATO, EU institutions, the American Bar Association and partnered universities.
