Dr. Ines Ben Salah holds a Ph.D. and MBA in Accounting from Laval University (Quebec, Canada). She is a lecturer of Accounting in the College of Business and Economics at Qatar University. Prior to joining Qatar University in September 2016, she was an assistant professor of accounting at the University of Dammam (Dammam, KSA) and the University of Tunis (Tunisia). She taught courses in Financial Accounting, Intermediate Accounting, Managerial Accounting, Accounting Information Systems and Financial Statement Analysis. Her research has focused on the Islamic Finance, effect of Accounting Disclosure on Financial Statement Users, Pension Funds, and the Stock Market Reaction to Accounting Information. She published papers in refereed journals such as the Journal of Accounting, Finance and Economics, the International Review of Business Research Papers, Global Economy and Finance Journal, International Journal of Islamic and Middle Eastern Finance and Management, Quarterly Review of Economics and Finance.
